I had the chance to interview author and pastor Anthony Carter on why more African Americans are being attracted to Reformed theology?
Anthony Carter is a pastor from Atlanta, and an RTS Orlando grad. He has written On Being Black and Reformed, Glory Road: The Journey of Ten African Americans into Reformed Christianity, and most recently Bloodwork.
In this interesting RTS President’s Forum, Anthony Carter spoke on the African American experience through the lens of theology. It is his contention that Reformed theology makes the most sense of the world in general and of the history of African Americans in particular.
In this interview Carter talks about how we are limping as a church towards integration and reconciliation. We talk about why this is so hard, yet so important. We also covered topics from reformed rap to Tony’s new book.
